Sharon Denise Hill of Osceola was born in Osceola, Arkansas the daughter of R J Hill and Geneva Ford Hill on November 19, 1958. Sharon was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church Frenchman’s Bayou where she sang in the choir. She was a graduate of Osceola High School and attended Arkansas Northeastern College.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother Donald Hill. Sharon passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 64.
Sharon is survived by two brothers, James (Glenda) Hill of Cordova, Tennessee; and Lorenza (Frantrise) Hill of Jacksonville, Arkansas; three sisters, Clotis (Sterling) Wafford of Glenn Heights, Texas; Lula Hill and Vivian Hill both of Osceola, Arkansas; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at First Baptist Church Frenchman’s Bayou, 7301 South Hwy 61, Joiner, Arkansas, where Reverend Jimmy Johnson is the pastor.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 noon following the visitation. Reverend Jimmy Johnson will deliver the eulogy with interment in Whiteside Cemetery.
