There truly aren't enough words to express the depth of this loss or the sorrow we are all feeling. Bernice was not only my cousin, but my best friend. The love and pride she had for her family were endless. Family meant everything to her, and she made it her mission to ensure we always knew our roots, our history, and the bond that connects us all. I will forever miss my cousin and my best friend, but I will hold close the memories we shared—the laughter, the tears, and most of all, the love.
Rest peacefully, Bernice. You are deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
To our beloved family, Today we honor and celebrate the beautiful life of my Auntie Bernice, who was truly like a second mom to me. Her love, warmth, wisdom, and caring spirit helped shape so many of our lives. She had a way of making everyone feel loved, welcomed, and supported, and her presence was such a blessing to our family. Auntie Bernice always took pride in sharing our family history and keeping our family connected. She genuinely took interest in knowing and loving her family, making sure our stories, roots, and memories would continue for generations to come. That love and connection she carried for family was truly special. While our hearts are heavy, we are also grateful for the many memories, lessons, laughter, and love she gave so freely. Her strength and beautiful spirit will continue to live on through all of us. May we continue to lift one another up in prayer and cherish the bond of family that meant so much to her. Rest peacefully, beautiful Auntie Bernice. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts and will never be forgotten. ❤️
