GRANT, Mrs. Bettye, a resident of Tuskegee, Alabama passed February 12, 2021 at her home. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 20, 2021 in Tuckabatchee Cemetery, Tallassee, AL, Dr. John H. Curry, Jr., officiating, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 2:00 - 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and service.

Aunty Bette will be missed. Personally I will miss our conversations. I never got tired of our talks. She was my personal family historian, she keep me straight on the REAL. I loved her wit and truth. She reminded me that God, family, education, and women's voices are important.
It's hard for me to say good bye, with tears and heavy heart I say SEE YOU LATERπππ say hello to dad and mom and everyone of the Blalock's I'm sure ya'll having a GRAND TIME in heaven....
