I send my sincere condolences to Chikeila's mother, daughter, sister and family. I know this is hard for you but keep praying and know that God makes no mistakes. He was ready for Chikeila to take her rest. I worked with Chikeila at Arlington Rehabilitation Health Care Center in Birmingham, Al. Chikeila was a very sweet and caring individual. Her sweet spirit, smile and caring demeanor will be truly missed by many. I am still in disbelief but I do know God pulled the best to take her rest. Rest in peace Chikeila until we meet again. Chikeila will be missed. She had the biggest and brightest smile. She was so sweet. I had the pleasure of meeting her during our college years at UAB. Really speechless and hard to believe she's no longer with us. I am praying for all who knew her and especially her mom and daughter. Rest in sweet peace.

I worked with Chikeila at UAB on the Trauma Unit. She was the sweetest ever and will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her mother, daughter (I remember when Chikeila first told me she was pregnant), close friends, line sisters, and all she touched during her beautiful 34 years on this earth.
