Obituary For Dorothy Brown Willis
WILLIS, Mrs. Dorothy B., a resident of Tallassee, AL, passed March 3, 2026, at her home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Solomon Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, Tuskegee, AL, Rev. E.O. Major, officiating. Interment will follow in the Mary Magdelene Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Shorter, AL, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Willis will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

My sincerest condolences for the family. Ms. Dot was very nice person. I sometimes, I would "sneak" her a beer or wine. She would just smile and say, "thank you L". May her soul find peace beside the river.
