No words , no cards no visit can take this pain away that you feel at this time in your life as a friend i been in this same seat just cherish the sweet memories in your heart you once shared now you are your mother vessels let her live through you, when the phone stop ringing and the visit stop coming and everybody goes their own separate ways I'll be still praying for you asking God for strength, comfort and peace in your heart remember the love she gave remember the prayers she prayed for you down through the years, it was to prepare you for this day i can see your mother at the exchange counter with our lord she already had her contract fixed she has received her crown her Earthly body it's not physically here but her bloodline live within you rest well my good a faithful servant fly away and be at rest to my friend job well done

I met Dorothy while I was working at Community Hospital in Tallassee, Al. Dorothy had the most beautiful smile. She love her patients and gave them the best care, always willing to help anyone. She had a love for all people. May God continue to give you his comfort and peace. Dorothy Hooks

I met Dorothy when I started my first job at community Hospital in Tallassee Alabama. She was like my mom with a bright smile and warm heart at work. She taught me everything that I needed to know about being a good nursing assistant. We would go out on weekends have a ball and go to work on the next day I would often visit her home to see Mrs Sarah she was like my grandmother and Nesha was like my little sister. Dorothy was sick, but she would still come to work. All of her patients was well taken care of the nurses would always ask Jeffrey are you going to ever let go of Dorothy's dress tail and get out on your own the answer was no, and when she left the hospital, I was so sad so Dorothy I will forever be your friend/ Son I love you and I'm going to miss you. Dorothy was one of the most beautiful people I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Her sweet spirit will forever be missed. My sincere condolences to the family.
