SMITH, JR., Mr. Dwight D., a resident of Tallassee, AL, passed August 24, 2025, at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at First Assembly of God Church, Tallassee, AL, Rev. Bobby Hornsby, Pastor, Rev. J.D. Oliver, officiating. Interment will follow in the Wall Street A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery, Tallassee, AL, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
