DEVAUGHN, Mrs. Janie M., a former resident of Shorter, AL, passed September 18, 2026, in Mobile, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at New Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Hardaway, AL. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Hardaway, AL, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. DeVaughn will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
