Obituary For John Henry Ellis
ELLIS, Mr. John Henry, a resident of Shorter, AL, passed September 13, 2026, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at Greater St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Tuskegee, AL, Dr. Woodrow Johnson, Jr., Pastor. Interment will follow in the Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mr. Ellis will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
