COPELAND, Ms. Karen, a resident of Tuskegee, AL, passed January 7, 2025, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church, Tuskegee Institute, AL, Rev. Johnathan Pemberton, Pastor. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Tallassee, AL, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Ms. Copeland will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
