Obituary For Lessie King
KING, Ms. Lessie, a resident of Newnan, GA, passed September 15, 2022, at Pruitt Health Center in Greenville, GA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 12:00 Noon, in the McKenzie's Funeral Home Chapel, Tuskegee, AL, Rev. K.G. Jones, officiating. Interment will follow in the Ashdale Cemetery, Tuskegee, AL, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and service.

You will forever be in our hearts. Lessie King (Nana) took care of our son like her own grandchild. The love and care that she gave to the children in her care cannot be matched with dollars. Her compassion, support and teachings had a lasting impact. We thank God for her life and those that she touched. Thank you King family for sharing her with us!!
