Ronald Shag Crawford was member of the Clarinet section in my band when I served as Band Director at Tuskegee Institute High School. He was always "All IN" with whatever we were playing. Ronald was a good motivator. Tuskegee is better because Ronald came this way. He felt that we should continue to strive for excellence. Long live his legacy of dedication. Charlie & Lillie Hardy

I am a complete random stranger who happened to be in Tuskegee the day of Mr. Crawford's funeral. I noticed he was to be carried to his finally resting place in a Rosewood hearse (I had never seen one in person either until Friday). As a mortuary student, I know the significance of these vehicles; very few people get to take their final ride in one, so I knew that he was a man who was beloved and of great importance. I was compelled to at least know his name. I'm so sorry for your loss. May you have peace and comfort in the coming days.
