We are so sorry you all lost your dear father, Uncle Bubba. We just received the sad news today. Lory and I are the grandchildren of his eldest sister, Kathleen Lee, children of the late Myldria Clark, Kathleen's eldest. I have a vivid childhood memory of Uncle Bubba, towering over me like a ten foot giant, smiling and hoisting me into his arms. It was one of the summers in Tuskegee, while visiting my great grandmother, Ms. Princella. Later in life, as a teen, then an adult, I was privileged to associate with him at our family reunions. I will miss him. Aaron, Boston, MA
To the Tolbert Family, may God's Love embrace you and give you strength to move forward in the days ahead. May the beautiful memories of your Love one give you peace. We will surely miss Deacon Tolbert. We will keep the Tolbert Family in our prayers. Sincerely, Grover and Jan Fountain
In May of 2019, my mother, Kathleen, my sister, Myldria and I visited Uncle Bubba. Kathleen wanted to spend time with her brother and visit some of the graves of precious family members. Spending time in Tuskegee and hearing Uncle Bubba and Mommy reminiscing was so special for Myldria and me. Sadly, Kathleen died in March 2021 and Myldria died in December 2022 a few months after Aunt Clara's passing in October 2022. Uncle Bubba was the last living child of Ms. Princella. So in July 2023, Janis, Brenda, Pam, Robin, Lena and I joined Casandra and Sha to have a family dinner and visit with Uncle Bubba . He was so happy as we gathered around him to take a photo. That's the picture I'll keep in my mind as we say goodbye to our beloved Uncle and Dad. ❤️❤️❤️ Sandra U.

Uncles often hold a dear place in your heart whether it is serving as a mentor, friend, or father. It is with heavy hearts you had to leave us to take your eternal rest. You had the remarkable ability to brighten up a room and make everyone you meet feel loved and valued. You were extraordinary. You were full of life. You were dedicated to your family, and you were dedicated to the lord. You were the epitome of what a true servant of God meant. May the memories we shared be a beacon of light during our dark days.
