Obituary For Wilbur Lee Thornton, Sr.
THORNTON, SR., Mr. Wilbur, a resident of Shorter, AL, passed May 22, 2025, at Baptist Medical Center East in Montgomery, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Pine Grove Church, Shorter, AL, Dr. Darryl Hamilton, officiating. Interment will follow in the Mary Magdalene Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Shorter, AL, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. Visitation will be held on May 30, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mr. Thornton will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
