Obituary For Willie Metcalf
Metcalf, Mrs. Willie Y., a former resident of Tuskegee, AL passed July 24, 2026 at her residence in Opelika, AL. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 12:00 Noon at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Tuskegee Institute, AL, Rev. Michael Thurman, Pastor, with Rev. Keith McGee, Officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. The family will receives friends, Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Metcalf will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.

To Vanessa,Tosha and all of the family, Sincere condolences for the passing of your beautiful, smart and witty mom. Several years ago I seen her working in a booklet. It was WordSearch. She said it to helps keep her mind sharp. Later that day I brought me a book and started searching too. Some are harder than you think.. as times of life. In fact I glanced at my bookshelf and there WordSearch book is there. Now every time, I do a word search, I will think of her. Thank you for sharing your Mom with us. Love you Valerie and Mike Austin
