Obituary For Jimmy Brown Sr.
Jimmy Brown Sr., 82 died Wednesday, July 27, 2022. He was the son of the late Joseph and Maggie Adams Brown.
Survivors include four sons; Jimmy Brown Jr. and Reverend Johnny Brown, both of Lancaster, Joseph Brown of Heath Springs and Eldrin Duncan of Newton, NC; daughters, Linda Crosby and Brenda Daniel both of Lancaster, Carol McCrorey of Indian Land and Eva Mingo of Maryland; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren
Services will be Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Second Baptist Church with Reverend Mary L. Adams-English officiating Pastor and Reverend Charles Crockett Eulogist with burial at Lancaster Memorial Park.
Viewing will be 1-6 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at McMullen Funeral Home.

Jimmy was a staple in the community, and a pioneer at the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office. One of the first black men of the county to become a Deputy Sheriff. My condolences 💐 to the family.
