Obituary For Maggie B. McCain

Maggie Blackmon McCain, 73, died Thursday, January 12, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Wyatt Blackmon Sr. and Corene Alexander Blackmon.

Survivors include two daughters, Kidada Telfair(Eugene Jr.) of Warner Middle, Georgia and Dimetrius Belk (Christopher ) of Lancaster; three sons, Stanley McCain of Rock Hill, SC, Shawn McCain of Charlotte, NC and JaMarlo of Lancaster, SC; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters Virginia Brown of Lancaster, SC and Shero Morris of Charlotte, NC. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Curtis Blackmon (Marie Blackmon), Jetty Blackmon and Wyatt Blackmon Jr. (Gloria Blackmon).

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church by Reverend Rickey Haile with burial in the church cemetery.

Sending my condolences to all of Mag's family and friends. Thinking back to the countless hours I spent at Mag's apartment at Carolina Courts, brought a smile to my face. We had a special connection that was never broken. Mag will definitely be missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace Auntie. Your Nephew, Earp!

Rest in peace Auntie 🕊️ Even though we grew apart over the years, I still have very found memories of your kindness and my many sleepover's at your house when I was younger. I'm glad we were able to reconnect recently even though the circumstances were less than ideal. Godspeed.
