“Sweet Mama” Angela Olivia St. Hubert was born on April 19, 1968 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Angela was the first of nine children born to the union of the late James Butler II and Inez Butler. Angie or “Sweet Mama” as she was affectionately known was loved by many especially in her community. At a very young age, Angela displayed the true nature of caring and sacrificing for others. While attending Dillard High School, she took care of her younger siblings and herself with the guidance of her mother and Auntie Rosena. This was the birth of her serving others and the Lord. On her twenty-first birthday she felt a shift within herself and decided to give herself to God and birth the angel that we dearly miss. On June 29, 1996 Angela married Jean Francois St. Hubert and this union brought forth three amazing children; Jeamil Frantz St. Hubert, Erika Nicole St. Hubert and Khambrel Francois St. Hubert. Whom she also left 10 bonus children; one granddaughter; Kamora Olivia St. Hubert (Khambrel); two bonus grandkids Adriana Nicole Darisma and Nathaniel Brian Darisma. Angela was considered a mother to so many people and left her light in them all. Her Strength and dedication inspired everyone around her to reach their goals in which she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Supervision and Management. She was known for being the life of the party and a child of God. She was a get up and go type of person. Her motto was “Write down your vision and make it plain”. That’s how she lived her life. Holidays were her favorite, not because of food and gifts but for the fellowship it brought. She was healthy, strong and full of life. Not only did she make sure her flesh was healthy but also her spirit. God was ready for his beautiful angel to come home and on February 28, 2019 he plucked that flower from his garden and Angela was called from Earth to heaven’s reward. Angela always believed to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Her greatest wish was to hear God say “Well Done my Faithful servant, Welcome home!”. Angela leaves her precious cherished and loving Memories to her husband, four children, three grandchildren, ten god children, seven siblings: Michelle Butler, Felicia Oliphant, Shanda Whaley, James Butler III, Nikitria Walker, Lanisia Butler and Kenneth Butler, many nieces and many nephews as well as a host of other family and friends, she will be greatly missed.
