In Loving Memory of Arthur
Arthur Stephens was a man of many talents, passions, and quiet strengths. Those who knew him understood that he lived life with rhythm, determination, and heart.
Arthur had a deep love for music. As a bass player in the Miami Carol City Orchestra, he helped provide the rich foundation that gave the orchestra its fullness and depth. Much like the instrument he played, Arthur himself was steady, reliable, and essential—often working behind the scenes but always making a powerful contribution to the harmony around him.
Beyond music, Arthur was an athlete who embraced the discipline and freedom of running. He ran cross country with dedication, pushing himself across long miles and challenging terrain. Yet among all his athletic pursuits, his greatest joy came on the track. Running the mile relay was where Arthur truly came alive. In that event, he combined speed, teamwork, and determination—passing the baton not just as a competitor, but as a teammate who believed in finishing strong together.
Arthur's life reminds us that talent can take many forms, and that passion—whether expressed through music or sport—can inspire those around us. He leaves behind memories of perseverance, teamwork, and harmony.
Though he has crossed the final finish line of this life, the rhythm he played and the races he ran will continue to echo in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Arthur will be remembered with admiration, gratitude, and love.
