To the Bailey Family, my most sincere condolences. I worked with Don for many years at MDCP. He was always willing to help and always with a smile. He never had anything bad to say about anything or anyone. As I often told him, "Don, you are my favorite", which he would chuckle at, but I meant it. He truly was a wonderful person. He will be missed. May he rest in eternal peace and may God bring you strength during this difficult time. Silvia Michelena
I forgot to add my name and candle in message below. My deepest condolences and love, Ileana Bravo.
When I started with Miami Dade County Schools almost eleven years ago, Mr. Bailey was already a project manager. He was always very nice and respectful, always happy with a smile. Every time that I would see him I would tell him that he was my favorite and the best PM and I meant it. He was on top of his projects all the time, as soon as I asked him for a document he would provide it.
I was heart broken when I heard that he was in the hospital. I had spoken to him the Friday before and I had asked him Mr. Bailey when are you retiring, he smiled and said not yet. I know that our Creator has Mr. Bailey's sweet soul with him. I will never forget him! Hold on to the memories you made with him, those stay with us forever. It was truly a blessing working with him all those years. God bless!
To Eric and Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear about Don's passing. My heart aches for you all during this incredibly difficult time. Don was such a big presence, not only in your lives but in the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, strength, and kindness will be deeply missed.
Please know that I am here for you, whether it's to listen, to reminisce, or simply to be there in whatever way you need. Eric, you've always been like a brother to me, and I want you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
May Don's memory bring you comfort and find peace in the love and support surrounding you.
With deepest sympathy and love,
Barry and Michelle Henry
My condolences to my dear cousins. Cousin Don, you will be always remembered and always loved by your extended family. We will miss your presence at our reunions. Our memories of you are precious and treasured. Bertha Bailey Whatley
To the family of Don Bailey: I worked for many years with Don at Miami-Dade County Public Schools and retired almost 4 years ago. When I retired I specifically went to Don and told him that he is one of the people I would most miss. I greatly respected and admired Don because of his work ethic, humility and perseverance. He never complained, he never had a negative word for anyone, he just kept going forward no matter how frustrating or difficult the circumstances might be. And he did that with a smile on his face. He was a great colleague and friend and I'm sure he was same home with his family. It was my honor and privilege to have worked with for many years. I hope knowing that he was valued and respected by those that worked with him for years brings some measure of comfort to you. My sincerest sympathies, Victor Alonso
