Harumy ( Haru) was born Harumy Sánchez Duran on July 1st, 1998 to Sandra Duran and Gonzalo Sanchez.
She graduated from Cypress Bay High School. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and was pursuing a degree to become a Registered Nurse (RN). Her dream was to become either a Travel Nurse or a Midwife.
On October 1st, 2023 Harumy was called to paradise.
Harumy was a light. Her smile always lit up every room she walked into. She was an animal lover and she always felt the need to be a protector to everyone that needed her. She was an advocate of justice and always wanted things to be right and truthful. She was very passionate to learn everything she could, you could ask her anything and she would have the answer. She was a protector, a warrior, and the rock of our family.
Her smile was so contagious that she left a lesson to all of us, to always smile in life, so we will always be smiling up at her.
She leaves us a treasure of loving memories: Sister: Nahomy Sanchez Duran, Brother: Kyan Sanchez Duran, Mother: Sandra Duran, Father: Gonzalo Sanchez, Second Father: Michael Stewart and all the rest of her family, boyfriend and friends.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 4:00PM-9:00PM at McWhite's Funeral Home. 3501 W. Broward Blvd. Fort Lauderdale, FL. 33312.
