Obituary For Deacon Davie Cowart

Deacon Dave Cowart, 84, of Newton, Georgia departed this life on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. in the First Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 277 Main St, Newton, GA 39870.

Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Meadows Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
