Her life and legacy will be celebrated Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 3:00 PM in the Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, 315 S. Madison Street, Albany, Georgia 31701.

My thoughts of my dear friend. I was 17 my first job. We became close immediately She conjured up warm smiles , gentle hugs, inspiring conversations and droplets and gems of wisdom. We never had to revisit a conversation it continue from where it left off. Mattie was full of love. She will always remain in my heart.
