Obituary For Mr. Derrick Allen Walker
Mr. Derrick Allen Walker, 63, of Albany, Georgia departed this life on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, Georgia.
Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 901 S. Westover Blvd, Albany, Georgia.
Interment will follow in the Floral Memory Gardens, 120 Old Pretoria Road, Albany, Georgia 31701.
Meadows Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Derrick came to live with me in Atlanta for a short period of time well it was a Friday night and I said Derrick I know this guy having a party let's go well we went to the party and someone said something that Derrick didn't like he took his hand and shoved all the drinks off the table well the guy stood up with a weapon Derrick took the weapon and said they call me JOHN WAYNE well that was big show my brother Derrick
This is so hard my baby brother will truly be missed we had so many memories together will be missed from your famous barbecue on the grill family gathering Love always your oldest sister Jan

Oh My God,l am lost for words...A Big Brother that was loyal,trustworthy,and shared everything with the family.We had a family bond that will always treasure (Big Show) love...This man was respectful and loving.He always stood up for his Sisters.We were connected in every way,just like a blood brother. We are blessed that he was chosen into our family. My little brother (Big Show)Gone But He Will Never Be Forgotten
