Mr. Henry Tinch, 79, of Albany, Georgia departed this life on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.
Celebration of Life held on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 901 South Westover Boulevard, Albany, Georgia 31721
Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church, Highway 234 Leary, Georgia.
Mr. Henry L. Tinch, 79, of Albany, peacefully passed away at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia, on October 28, 2024. He loved God, the Master, cared deeply for his family and friends, and will continue to be in the memory of those who knew him.
Deacon Henry Tinch was born on July 29, 1945, in Dawson, Georgia, to the late Willie James Tinch and Ceola Gardener Tinch. He attended Calhoun County High School in Leary, Georgia.
In the sixties, he joined the Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church in Leary, Georgia, where he served faithfully as a deacon. Henry Tinch Brick Mason Company was the heart of his business. He was a well-known businessman in Southwest Georgia.
Mr. Henry L. Tinch was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
He leaves to cherish a lifetime of smiles and memories: his seven children, Henry Tinch (Gwen), Eric Tinch (Nina), Minnie Sims (Ameche), Francine Ingram (Alonzo), Reggie Tinch (Pleshette), Kirk Tinch, and Nuru Tinch; closer than a brother, Charlie Gardner; two sisters, Mildred Boyd and Ida Mae Newton; 25 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; as well as a host of close relatives and friends.

My Uncle Henry was such a wonderful uncle as I remember going to he/Auntie House as a little girl. He just sat back with his legs crossed. I'm really going to miss him dearly😥😥. He posted away a month & week after my big sis😠RIP Uncle and say "Hey" to Daddy
