Mr. Ivery Green, Jr., 63, of Albany, Georgia departed this life on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the Harvest Kingdom Jubilee Ministries, 801 Swift Street, Albany, GA 31705.
Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, 200 Cotton Ave, Albany, Georgia 31701.
Mr. Ivery Green, Jr, “Baby Bunk”, was born on January 14, 1962, in Albany, Georgia to the late Ivery Green, Sr., and Sarah Edwards Green.
His Chrisitian experience began at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. He was baptized by the late Rev. Wilson and remained under his leadership for many years.
Ivery graduated from Westover High School Class of 1980 and attended college majoring in Music.
Ivery “Baby Bunk” was a bricklayer and concrete finisher by trade. He was widely respected for his trade, and was an excellent craftsman.
Ivery radiated happiness, and that light touched everyone he met. He processed a joyful spirit that lit up everyroom he entered. His smile was warm, and full of grace. He smiled not because his life was perfect, but perfection wasn’t the point, living was. Ivery, “Baby Bunk”, will be missed.
Ivery “Baby Bunk” was preceded in death by his parents.
He united in holy matrimony with Editha Jones and to this union four children were born, Iva Green, McDonough, GA, twins Arthur Green, Killeen, TX, and Henry Green, Newnan, GA and Nneka (Skylar, Sr,) Brown, Newnan, GA, grandchildren, Skylar Brown Jr, Newnan, GA, and Nia Brown, Newnan, GA, Nora Brown, Newnan, GA, Kaija Green-West, Lansing, KS, brothers, Albert Lee Edwards, Albany, GA, William Gregory Green, Albany, GA, Christopher Lamar Wade, Tampa, FL. Ivery also leaves behind to cherish his memories and reflect upon his life nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Bay-Bunk you are going to be missed when I come back from Virginia to visit. We grew up together across the street and can write a book about how we made every second count. Memories are going to be forever as you are Physically Gone but never forgotten.
