Mr. Ronald James Berryhill, 75, of Albany, Georgia departed this life on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Phoebe Worth Medical Center in Sylvester, Georgia.
Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, 315. S. Madison Street, Albany, Georgia 31701.
Ronald Berryhill Sr., a lifelong resident of Albany, Georgia, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026. He was a man defined by his quiet strength and an unwavering commitment to his community.
A Foundation of Family and Education - Born on November 4, 1950, Ronald was the second of seven children born to the late Willie Frank Berryhill and Alberta E. Berryhill. Growing up in the heart of Albany, he was a proud graduate of the Monroe High School Class of 1968. Seeking to further his knowledge and skills, he continued his education at Albany Junior College.
A Life of Service and Dedication - Ronald was a man who understood the value of a day’s work. He spent many years as a dedicated employee of the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. His adventurous spirit and love for the road later led him to a career as a long-distance truck driver, a role that allowed him to see the country while providing for those he loved. In his later years, Ronald’s heart for service took on a more personal touch. He became a well-known helping hand in his community, finding great fulfillment in transporting friends to their various appointments. He was the kind of man who was always there when you called, ensuring everyone got where they needed to go safely and with a friendly word.
Love and Legacy - Ronald was united in holy matrimony to his devoted wife, Carolyn Berryhill. He was father to three children: Shalanda (Orlando)Rambo, Fabian T. Berryhill, and Ronald J. Berryhill Jr. His spirit will live on through his four grandchildren: Jailyn (Dante), Janece, Justin, and Jordyn.
Survivors and Family - Ronald's memory will be forever held dear by his loving wife, Carolyn Berryhill, and his children, Shalanda (Orlando) Rambo, Fabian T. Berryhill, and Ronald J. Berryhill Jr. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Jailyn (Dante), Janece, Justin, and Jordyn; his siblings, Willynne (Ed) Johnson, Michael Berryhill, Tim (Hurlaine) Berryhill, and Anthony (Latonya) Berryhill; and his sister-in-law, Felicia Berryhill. His memory is further honored by his mother- in-law, Janie Muldrow; two sisters-in-law, Monique Moseley and Tracy Singletary, four brothers in-law, Keith (Bobbie) Muldrow, Elvis (Linda) Muldrow, and Kim Muldrow and Willie Singletary (Anne). He will also be remembered and loved by a number of other family members and friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Danetta Berryhill, and his brother Steven Berryhill Sr.
