Donna Kay Evans was born September 20, 1970, to Mr. Joria Lee West Sr and Mary West in Leesburg, Ga the sixth child of seven children.
Donna matriculated through the Lee County School System and graduated from Lee County High School in 1988. She furthered her education at Albany Technical College and graduated with an Associate Degree in Business Logistics.
Donna made her career as a homemaker and served as a personal care assistant for many years. Donna loved serving others and never met a stranger. She lived a life of servitude, and the lord continued to bless her for her sacrifices and labor of love.
Donna received salvation at a young age in the home of her parents. She attended House of God Saints in Christ Inc. of Leesburg, Ga under the pastoral leadership of the late Bishop Andrew Caldwell Sr. and later united with Spirit of Truth Prayer & Intersession Ministries and served faithfully as the church secretary for many years. Donna accepted her call to the ministry and was licensed as a minister of the gospel to preach and teach the word of God. Donna knew that God had called her to greater works and would later accept her gift as a prophet of the lord. Donna would later be affirmed and licensed as a prophet by her pastor, Apostle Wayne Grant.
Donna was a worshipper who loved to sing and dance before the lord. She sang for several years with the praise and worship team and the choir. Donna was also a founding member of the Spirit of David Dance Ministry.
Donna loved the word of God. She would spend countless hours studying the word and seeking the lord for revelation, knowledge, and understanding. Donna believed in the power of prayer and lived a life of intercession. She would spend hours before the lord in her prayer room. Donna was known as an encourager; her welcoming spirit always exemplified the love of God.
Donna had a smile that would radiate the astrosphere. Her family will miss the laughter, jokes, and kisses. She was the diva and fashionista of the family. She loved to shop, travel, and decorate.
Donna met the love of her life Boddy Evans Jr., and they were united into holy matrimony on March 20, 1999. Their martial union was blessed with 2 children Da’Juanna Evans and Donovan Evans.
Donna loved her family and held them close to her heart. Donna never allowed her children to lack anything. She made a way for her children, and they will always cherish her in their hearts.

I was so very sorry to hear about the passing of Donna. I remember Donna back at the old House of God Saints in Christ Church, Leesburg, GA., which was under the leadership of the late Bishop A.F. Caldwell, Sr. She always had a nice and sweet spirit. She kept a beautiful smile on her face and a cute giggle. My thoughts and prayers are with the Evans and West families. Beverly Virgil Reynolds, Boston, GA.

Please accept my sincere condolences! I am so sorry to learn of the passing of my classmate. We haven't seen each other in years and I was looking forward to reconnecting during our upcoming LCHS Class of 1988 reunion. I will always cherish the time I spent with Donna and her sister Marilyn in school, laughing and joking with Joria, visiting their home and attending church with the West Family! Plus, I always was getting Casey to play the drum somewhere for me! I know you guy will miss Donna. She was always such a sweet person and had a smile or grin on her face everyday! May God bless you all!
