Mrs. Ethel H. Walker, 84, of Albany, Georgia departed this life on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at PruittHealth - Palmyra in Albany, Georgia.

Celebration of life will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the Greater Second Mt. Olive Faith Center, 103 Dewey Street, Albany, Georgia 31705.

Interment will follow in the Floral Memory Gardens, 120 Old Pretoria Road, Albany, Georgia 31707.

Meadows Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Remember a moment went Aunt "Teat" measured me when making a dress for my 6th grade graduation. She told me to turn around and when I did, she replied "I said turn around,not twist around" and laughed. Aunt Ethel was effectionately known in the family as Aunt "Teat". Her yougest son Derrick would cry out and say "I want my Teat!" as a child when he was being watched after while Aunt Ethel was at work. This story was told to me by my mother, Mary,sister of Aunt Ethel.
Always a great love for you as a neice!
