Ms. Angela Katrice Freeman, 43, of Leesburg, Georgia departed this life on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at First Commerce Center for Compassionate Care in Tallahassee, Florida.

Angela Katrice Freeman made her entrance on the stage of life on February 18, 1982, to the parentage of David and Frankie Freeman. Angela transitioned on Sunday, June 22, 2025 to join her brothers, Terrence Lorenzo and David Larnard Freeman; paternal grandparents, Clifton (Hazel) Bryant and Willie Elijah Freeman; maternal grandparents, Frank T. (Minnie Kate) James; uncles, Earl and Jeffery Bryant, and Gilbert James; and aunt, Velma βSqualeyβ Williams.
Angela was a member of the Lee County High School graduating Class of 2001. Because of her love for children, she sought employment in childcare. Her radiant smile would light up a room.
Angela was baptized at an early age and joined Mt. Hope Baptist Church. Yet to become a family that prays together, she and her mother joined Wooden Grove Baptist. The family later joined First Monumental Faith Ministry. Her service was seen as a member of the Daughters of Zion Mass Choir, Assistant Youth Advisor, Sisterhood and the Adult Usher Ministry.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving parents, David and Frankie Freeman; brothers, Patrick (Tara) Acres and Channing Freeman; aunts, Annie Mildred Mitchell, Juliet (Lonnie) Parker, Hazel Jean Fleming, Yolanda Atherton, and Jennifer Renee Bryant; uncles, Willie Norris Freeman, Wildmon Bryant, Ralph W. Bryant, and Jessie (Judy) Barthell; sister-in-law, Annette Freeman; godmother, Marilyn Heard; great aunts, Christine Best, Shaffie Long, Cherry Mitchell, Mildred Childs, and Yolanda Childs; god-siblings, Derek Heard, Chan Heard, Scarlette Wimberly, Justin Pride, Jonah James, Janoah James, Tranay Clemons, and Travia Clemons; bonus aunts, Alfreda Wilson, Deidre Canty, and Andrea Bufford; uncle, Rico Potts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

I remember when we was little girls, so inseparable, and then found out you was gonna be my daughter teacher at the daycare, I just felt so much better about leaving her knew she would be taken care of.Life and distance happened and we grew apart but even then I always wondered how was you doing in life? I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Angie. She was a bright light in our class, always bringing a positive attitude and a kind spirit. I will always remember her infectious laugh and her willingness to help others. She will be deeply missed by all of us. My thoughts are with her family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
