Sorry for your loss, you were an awesome grandparent and will be greatly missed. Words from the heart: Dear God, thank you for Simon's grandparents' life, PaPa T. Thank you for all the ways he loved Simon through them, all the things Papa T taught Simon, all the ways You've blessed Simon. Simon will treasure the memories that he has had with you. Simon will continue to learn from his Papa T, even now that this beloved person is no longer with him in this life.
Prayers and condolences to the Thompson family. Rev.T was one of my favorite teachers at Westover High School. The first time I went to his typing class was in 1982. He let us know that we already had a "C" for coming to class. To make an A or B was up to us as students. This was his way of encouraging us to do better. There was never a dull moment in his class. I didn't learn to type much but I passed his class and gained a relationship with a well respected teacher who never forgot me even as an adult. My family sends prayers also. Rest well Rev T. I believe you earned a capital "C" for your belief in Christ and an even greater reward in heaven. You will be greatly missed. Tangela Frazier Harris.
My sincere condolences to Arthur Jr., Barry, Reginald and Corey. Reverend Thompson was considered to be an honorary member of the Artesian City Chapter of Ministers' Wies and Ministers' Wives, which Sister Bertha served as President for many years. We traveled across the US and Internationally for conventions and shared in holiday celebrations together. We will miss you Reverend Thompson, but we rejoice with you because you and Bertha are together again. Norma Gaines-Heath President GAMWMW
Sending prayers to the Thompson Family.
Loving Memory of Dr. Arthur L. Thompson Sr.
To the Thompson Family,
My heart is with you during this time of sorrow. Dr. Arthur L. Thompson Sr. was a man of deep faith, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the Kingdom. I will never forget how he preached with power and grace at our ordination ceremony as deacons at Grace First Baptist Church in San Antonio back in 2001. That moment marked a sacred milestone in my life, and his words still echo in my spirit today. Corey, you are my best friend and brother in Christ. I grieve with you and stand beside you in love and prayer. Your father's legacy lives on—not only in the lives he touched from the pulpit, but in the hearts of those he mentored, encouraged, and uplifted. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Much love to the entire Thompson family. I will be lifting you up, especially on Friday, as you celebrate the life of this great servant of God.
With deepest sympathy and love,
Ronnie and Nina Meadows

Rev. T and I worked together at WHS. It was one of the greatest group of people with whom I have ever worked. He had this awesome sense of humor that always reflected underlying wisdom. He could be humorous and sarcastic at the same time. As a student in Sunday School, he made the learning and fellowship enjoyable. I shall miss his unique and jovial spirit. My prayers go out to his family as they grieve his passing. I am so honored to have known him.
Rev. Thompson was like another father, he performed my marriage some 43 years ago.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
