The Lord is my Light and my Salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1
We pause here today, to pay our last respects to our departed love one, friend, and church family, who departed this life on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at the Allendale County Hospital, Fairfax, South Carolina.
Albert Lee Lewis was born, the son of Jannie Milledge and the late B.C. Smart in Allendale County, South Carolina.
Albert was educated in the public schools of Allendale County, South Carolina. He was a member of Greater Bethel A.M.E. Church, Fairfax, South Carolina.
Albert Lee affectionately known as "Fat Albert" was a loving person, and a jack of all trades.
For over seventeen years Albert was a Truck Driver, driving all over the land. Albert Lee was a die-hard 49ers fan. Football was his passion.
"The future is not ours to know, and it may never be, so let us give our best, never anticipating or doubting the power of our Savior; asking nothing of tomorrow except--THY WILL BE DONE."
Our loved one has been taken, but God has gained another angel. Peace comes to us knowing that he is not suffering with pain and hopelessness. As he enters his new life, he will be greeted with love from his father.
For those we love just don't go away, but yet they walk beside us each and every day. Unspoken, unheard, unfelt, but always near, we still love you, miss you and wish you was here.
He leaves to mourn: His wife; Shirley Lewis; Hampton, South Carolina; Four sons: Jaquan Cintell Lewis, Houston, TX, Albert Lee Lewis, Baltimore, MD, Wendell Brabham, Austin, TX and Kareem Jones, Beaufort, SC.; Two daughters: Lovie Brabham, Austin, TX, and Sheena Gardner, Beaufort, SC.; His loving and devoted mother: Jannie Milledge, Fairfax, SC.; Seven sisters; Mattie (Joe), Joeann (Curtis, Teresa (Eugene), Loria Ann (Sydney), Sissy (Willie), Sabrina, and Patricia; Five brothers: Donald (Terry Ann), Wayne, Ronnie (Brenda), William, and Calvin; (13) Grandchildren; One Godson: Demetrius; One special friend: Sarah Gardner; Six long time friends: Delks, Weep, Willie, Zach, Andrew, and Mike, along with other dedicated friends. This seem so unreal, a couple of Sundays ago I gave you a Hug when you came up to Re-join the Greater Bethel Church Family, not knowing this would be the last time I would see you, so sad.
To the family, please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Albert, I am almost at a loss for words. My heart is heavy today knowing that I will never hear your voice or get a text message from you ever again. I have been sharing God's word with you every morning for the past six months now and I pray that it increased your knowledge and understanding of God and gave you peace. This morning I shared today's scripture with you, but it felt so different in my heart because I know you are unable to read it. But you are in His presence now and that must be awesome. Know that you will truly be missed. My condolences and prayers of comfort to the entire Lewis family. R.I.H. Albert.
