LEESVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA
~OBITUARY~
We pause here today, to pay our last respects to our departed loved one, friend, and church member, who departed this life on Sunday, January 12, 2020, at the AGAPE Hospice House, Lexington, South Carolina.
JOHN THOMAS WILSON III, son the late John Thomas Wilson II and Rosa Weir, was born September 11, 1937, Charleston County, South Carolina.
His early religious training began at Fairfax first Baptist Church, Fairfax, South Carolina.
"Pete" as he was affectionately called, attended the public schools of Charleston County. He furthered his studies at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, South Carolina. After graduating, he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he became an electrician. Pete joined the Apprenticeship Program at International Brotherhood Electrical Workers Local Union 776/379. He was a proud union brother throughout his life.
Those who will forever cherish his lovely memories: a loving and devoted wife, Sharon Fujimoto Wilson, of the home; two sons, Jonathan Tomio Wilson and Robert Bryce Yoshio Wilson; one daughter, Fawn Rose Haruko Wilson; granddaughters, Alanah rose Mitsuye Wilson, Victoria Rose Wilson, and Chloe Rose Haruko Brown; grandson, Daniel Bryce Yoshio Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sympathizing friends.
Services will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020, 2:00 P.M., at Fairfax First Baptist Church, Fairfax, SC. Interment will follow in the Fairfax Cemetery, Fairfax,SC.
Calling Hours will be held Friday, January 24, 2020, 3:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at M.F. Riley's Memorial Chapel, Fairfax.
