"Elouise" as she was affectionately called, took on the spiritual form of immortality on Monday morning, October 5, 2020, when the Lord called her home. She was born June 2, 1948 to the late Joe Early Sr. and the late Sadie Harvey Early; she was reared in the home of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Singleton (teachers) of Allendale, SC, and close friends of the family.
She received her education in the Allendale County Public School System. Latassha was a member of Jehovah Witness Church, and later studied with a Pentecostal Holiness Church, Charleston, SC.
She was a soft-spoken person, loved reading her Bible, loved life, being with her family, and being as comical as she could be. When she did not agree with what you said, she would raise that left eyebrow and look the other way. Elouise was definitely our mother's twin.
At the age of twenty-three, she moved to Brunson, SC, after a few years, she relocated to Jacksonville, Fl. where she met the love of her life, the late Joe Williams, and they later joined in holy matrimony. She was employed by the Jacksonville Coliseum for several years. When her health began to decline, she moved to Charleston, SC, and she was placed in the care of Johns Island Post Acute Care, until her demise.
Although she did not have children, Jalen Early, Aleyssa Early, and Chaunci (Zonda) Dailey )nieces and nephews) were the apple of her eyes.
Her grandparents, parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and nieces will be waiting just beyond the next door to greet her.
Her departure on Monday morning, October 5, 2020, has left a tremendous void in the lives of her family: (1) Sister: Annie Early Dailey; (2) Brothers: Joe Early Jr., and Chief Andrew (Samantha) Early USN, (RET); (5) Nieces: Prophetess Sharon (Franklin) Buckner, Eletha (Kennedy) Kearse, Lavonda (Johnny) Earley Stacy, Debra Ruth, Danitra Dailey; (2) Nephews: Bentrice Early, Johnny (Erica) Earley. A host of grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
