Leon K. Allen was born on April 3, 1956, in Allendale County, South Carolina to the late Ida Smart and the late Frank Allen.
At an early age, he joined and became a baptized member of Miller Swamp Missionary Baptist Church.
“Lil Frank” as he was affectionately called was educated in the public schools of Allendale County.
He was employed with Gatlin’s IGA for numerous years as a stocker.
Lil Frank was a devoted family person with a kind and generous soul. He always had a smile on his face, and he would leave an everlasting impact on all who knew him. Above all, he loved to enjoy life.
Leon met and fell in love with the love of his life Syrilia McKnight. They enjoyed life together for over 10 years and they lived happily together until God called him home.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by (1) Sister: Lorraine Smart; (2) Brothers: Prince Smart and John Miley; Special Niece: Darlene Smart.
Leon found peace on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.
Leon’s memories will forever be cherished by his loving companion: Syrilia McKnight; of the home; (3) Adopted Children: Keyaveus Graham, Dynasian Graham, and Keveonta Graham; (5) Adopted Grandchildren: Jamier Speck, Taevon Thompson, Sy’aire Thompson, Nova Graham, and Amyla Graham; (3) Sisters: Nancy (Kenneth) White; Reatha Miley, and Carolyn Allen; all of Fairfax, SC; (2) Brothers: Angus Ritter; Fairfax, SC; and Pearstine (Jackie) Allen; Barnwell, SC; (1) Devoted Nephew: Stedman Miley; (14) Nieces and Nephews: Myecha Miley, Parrish Miley, Hermane Plumer, Tiffany Busby, Khadijah Allen, Lykashia Allen, Demetrius Allen, Latoya Allen, Nakia Spellman, Michael Owens, Terri Allen, Trastine Saxby, Pearstine Allen, Jr., and Michael Allen; Special Friends: The Roberts Family, James Ginn, William Ginn, Marvin Williams, and James McKnight. A host of loving cousins and sympathizing friends.
