Patricia Smith Allen was born November 9, 1955, in Fairfax, South Carolina to the late Bessie Smith and the late Charlie Williams, Jr.
She was educated in the public schools of Allendale County.
On October 31, 1993, Patricia married the love of her life, the late Marion Allen, and their union was blessed with four children. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who provided unconditional love and support to her family.
Tricia, as she was affectionately called, was employed with Colbert Plywood for many years before lovingly devoting herself as a full - time caregiver to her beloved husband during his illness.
During her leisure time, Tricia found joy in cooking, keeping her home, and spending time on the telephone with her cherished nieces and dear friends. Her warm spirit and compassionate heart touched the lives of all who knew her.
On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, our beloved Patricia gained her heavenly wings at the Colleton Medical Center, Walterboro, South Carolina. Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that God has welcomed another angel into his eternal care.
In addition to her loving husband and parents, she is preceded in death by: (2) Sisters: Lottie Mae Eady and Helen Gillison; (5) Brothers: Johnny Lee Smith, Woodrow Smith, Alfred Williams, Zachary Williams, and Stanley Williams.
Her passing has left a profound void in the lives of those who loved her dearly: (3) Sons: Craig (Pamela) Smith, Kelvin (Tenille) Smith, and Spencer (Shaneece) Smith; (1) Daughter: Latoya (Torian) Washington; (13) Grandchildren: Kwanzza Mitchell, Mattina Anderson, Nicole Smith, Haven & Chancellor Brown, Torian Washington, Jaelyn Smith, Khalil Smith, Serenity Williams, Kha'Dai Washington, Ashton Washington, Melody Bates, and Joshua Smith; A special granddaughter reared in the home: Anaries Washington; (4) Great - Grandchildren; (3) Sisters; Deloris (John) Deloach, Alica Drayton, Linda Mae Williams; (2) Brothers: Charlie (Diane) Williams Jr., and Maddison Haynes; (1) Brother-in-law: Eddie Allen; (4) Sisters-In-Law: Pearlie Mae Allen, Gladys (Thomas) Holmes, Martha Robers, and Eloise Allen Moore; she will be especially missed by her dear cousin, who was like a sister, Retha Hall; (3) Devoted Friends: Tina Rodell, Alice Ritter, and Lori Creech. I'm extending my most sincerest condolences to the family... My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God grant you all much comforting and strength, during this most difficult time and beyond. ππΎππΎππΎ 'Tricia was an original member of that welcoming crew, in Fairfax, when I first relocated to S.C. She made me feel like, I had known her, all of my life. I can still hear her laughter, ringing in my head... That's all, it ever was, when I saw her... Laughter and reminiscing about my Mother, Edna Mae and her times, in the projects. π A sweetheart, through and through... There will only be fond memories of her. She's already missed. π Rest in Paradise, 'Tricia. ποΈ
