Obituary For Mr. Brian Keith Simmons

Remembering Mr. Brian Keith Simmons, Sr. May 1, 1977 - March 16, 2022

Brian, 44, was born, on May 1, 1977, to Cheryl Simmons and the late Gregory Simmons. Brian was a lifelong resident of Moss Point, MS. He was employed with Kemron Environmental Services until his health failed him. He was well known for his hard work.

Brian was a graduate of Moss Point High School Class of 1996. He loved spending time with his family, and he never met a stranger. If you had the pleasure of meeting him, you would love him and within minutes you became his family. Brian was truly the “Jack of All Trades” He considered himself a chef because he loved to cook. He considered himself a mechanic because he could fix cars and get them running. He loved doing yard work and dancing to his blues every Saturday morning while grilling his family’s favorite food.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Simmons; paternal grandparents, Willie Alphonse Simmons and Louise Reed Simmons; his maternal grandfather, Mack Chatman, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Camilla Thompson; great grandparents, Hurbert and Priscilla Coles; and uncle, James Marlon Coles.

Brian leaves his memories in the hearts of his loving and devoted mother, Cheryl Simmons; son, Brian Simmons, Jr.; loving and caring fiancé, Aurelia McNeil; stepdaughters, Ja’Riyah and Ca’Miyah McNeil; sister, Mekela (Ronald) Martin, grandfather, Harry Thompson; nephews, Javarious Simmons, Bayliss Jenkins, and Gerald Terrell; great nephew, Brycen Jenkins; a devoted uncle and aunt, Norris and Michelle Simmons; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Viewing will be from 3:00-6:00 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2022 in Millender's Funeral Chapel. 4412 Main Street; Moss Point, Mississippi 39563.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 26, 2022 in Davis Chapel Cemetery; Three Rivers, Mississippi.

MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED FOR THE VIEWING AND SERVICES TO PROTECT ALL IN ATTENDANCE.
