Obituary For Mrs. Sharon Deville Wells

Sharon Denise DeVille-Wells, 62, of Moss Point, Mississippi, departed life on March 13, 2019 and entered into eternal rest.

She was born March 15, 1956, in Gary, Indiana, to Edward and Frances DeVille. She was baptized, at a young age, at First Baptist Church. She received salvation at Bible Study Baptist Church, her home church, where she cherished her Pastor, Sam Mitchell and First Lady, Lisa. She was an exemplary employee of Ingalls Shipyard for many years. She loved playing cards with her TAF family and cherished her adopted families, the Owens, Darden and Steele families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Frances DeVille; sister, Shelia DeVille; and her son, Leon Wells III.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her friend, David Thompson; sons, Daryl DeVille and Grover DeVille, Moss Point, MS, and Jermaine (Andrea) Wells, Duluth, GA; brothers, David (Shirley) DeVille, Jackson, MS and ElWar DeVille, Lake Charles, LA; sister, Kimberly Washington (Kenny), Houston, TX; grandchildren, Hiawatha DeVille, Alicia Nathan, LaDaryl Nathan, Matthew Young, DeAirria DeVille, Alex DeVille, Jhimarea Furniss, Audria Hicks, Trace DeVille, Leon Wells IV, Kori Wells, Courvoisier Houston, Julius Wells, Christian Allen, Jayla Wells, Wesley and Taylor Sears; great-grandchildren, Hazel and Colton Thompson, DeAsia Nathan and Ava Wells; nephews, Jason and Durman DeVille, Devon and Kenny Washington, Houston, TX, ElWar and Edward DeVille, Lake Charles, LA; nieces, Shante DeVille, Tampa, FL and Carlotta DeVille (Edward Burkes), Moss Point, MS, Renee’ DeVille-Nelson (Hunter), Mobile, AL, Alexis and Alexandra DeVille and Kayla Semien, Lake Charles, LA and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Bible Study Baptist Church, 5812 Grierson Street, Moss Point, Mississippi. Viewing will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow the services in St. Paul Cemetery, Magnolia Street, Moss Point, Mississippi.
