Christopher Michael Smith was born in Jackson, MS on December 25, 1971, to Oliver Smith and Marilyn Gray Smith. Chris was called into eternal rest on March 21, 2022.

Chris accepted Christ at an early age at Jerusalem Church. He completed his education at Thomastown Attendance Center and graduated with the Class of 1990. He also attended Mississippi Valley State University. He was a very skilled mechanic who had a passion for helping others. Chris worked with his father at Smith Automotive Repair LLC. He had a lifelong love for cars and enjoyed attending car shows. Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was united in holy matrimony to Angela Robinson on September 14, 2002, and to this union five beautiful children were born. Chris was preceded in by his wife Angela in 2006.

Chris leaves to cherish his memories: hisn parents, Oliver and Marilyn Smith, two daughters, Chelsea and Comesha Smith; seven sons, Corban, Caleb, Corey, Chris, Jaylon, Chrishun, and Cardarious Smith; one grandson, Carsen Mattison; one grandauighter, Calexis Smith; two sisters, Anita (Charles) Lowery, Columbus, Georgia and Jennifer Harris, Carthage, MS; a special friend, Arnettra Hopkins; mother-in-law, Opel Kelly; three nieces, Abria Harris, Mariyah Harris, and Journnee Williams, two nephews, Damian Lowery and Cameron Lowery, aunts, uncles, and a host of family and friends,
