Ednekia was born April 21, 1987, to Regina Anderson and the late Jarvis Lewis. She grew up in San Francisco, California and after graduating high school she attended Jackson State University. Seven years later Ednekia returned to California where she worked various jobs until she settled into being a truck driver. She would later give it up due to the family needing her. Without a second thought, that part of her other life was done. She took care of everyone who needed her until her last days. She did not do it for fame or any kind of gain but because it was the right thing to do.

Ednekia is resting now in peaceful slumber awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. She will be reunited with her daughter, Izanna Zendaya Pinson, her father, Jarvis Lewis, a sister Kalakina Lewis, grandmother, Eddie Mae Luckwtt and her grandfather James (Bill) Lewis.

She leaves so many treasures and deposits of love that will be cherishhed by loving mother, Reginia Lewis, her brother, Jarvis LaQauceer Lewis, her sister, Somazea Lewis and a host of aunts, uuncles, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
