Services for Mrs. Freida C. Foster will be held, Saturday, October 5, 2025 @ Mt. Moriah M.B. Church, 6720 Attala Rd 5047, Kosciusko, Ms. 39090.
Visitation will be at Myricks Funeral Home in Kosciusko, Ms., on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 9:00 a.m., to 5:00 p.m.
Obituary: Freida C. Foster was born on July 22, 1964, in Union, Mississippi, to the late J.G. Bassett and Louis Bassett.
She excepted Christ at an early age.
She united in holy matrimony to James Foster. To this union, two children were: Latrice Tate and Cathy Foster.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Huey Bassett, Larry G. Bassett and Wayne Bassett, and one sister: Eda Thomas.
Freida departed this life on September 27, 2025, surrounded by her beloved church family.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted and loving husband, James Foster, husband of 33 years: two daughters, Latrice (Cory) Tata and Cathy Foster: two brothers, Alford (Beverly) Bassett and Chris (Lee) Bassett: three sisters, Glendia (Arvin) Young, Mary Baysinger, and Betty Carin: and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She also leaves to cherish her memories several special nephews: Charley Thomas, Dree Meaders, Jacob Thomas, Joe Bassett, and Jeffery Mallett.
