Mr. John White, Sr, was born on July 21, 1939 to Sylvester and Evelina Wilson White. He was a lifelong resident of Holmes County, MS. He moved to his new resting place on December 6, 2022, with the assurance of an eternity with his heavenly Father.

On July 21, 1963, he married Annie Mae Williams, this occasion was blessed with a daughter and four sons.

John was employed with and retired from Illinois Central Gulf company. He had a love for rabbit hunting and fishing.

John was preceded in death by his wife Annie Mae, his daughter Cherry Ann Tucker, and grandson Deverius White.

He leaves to cherish his memories and to continue his legacy, Four sons: John Jr. of Southaven, MS, Dexter (Latanya) of Durant, MS Larry (Renee) of Olive Branch, MS, Kelsey (Vakeshia) of Kosciusko, MS. Three siblings: Virginia Branch of Durant, MS, Louise White of Goodman, MS and Charles White of Pickens, MS. 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
