Tiffany Necole Gill was born on January 12, 1974 in Jackson, MS to George Lynn Gill and the late Mattie Jean Gill.
She accepted Christ at the age of five and was baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit on August 19, 1979. Tiffany became a member of Mt. Olive M.B. Church, where she was a choir member for countless years.
Tiffany received her education from Thomastown Attendance Center on May 14, 1992. She had great work ethics. She believed that if you wanted something in life, you had to work for it. She worked at the Walnut Grove Correctional Facility as a Correctional Officer for many years. After the closing of the Walnut Grove Correctional Facility, Tiffany worked at the Carthage Correctional Facility until her health began to decline.
On April 10, 1997 Tiffany received a precious gift from God, a son, Tevin J. Grill. Tevin has been a blessing right from the start and Tiffany loved her son with all of her heart. They shared a special bond that only a mother and son could share. Tiffany was blessed with two beautiful grandchildren that stole her heart. Tiffany enjoyed life and her laughter and joyful spirit had a way of brightening everyone's day. She was also known as the "Helping Hand." She was always willing to help her family and others whenever they needed her.
Tiffany lost her battle to cancer on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at approximately 2:27 a.m. at the Baptist Medial Center in Jackson, MS. Her life on earth was not the final chapter, it is merely the opening one.
Beloved family members that preceded her in death were her mother; Mattie Jean Gill, sister, Earlene Gill, paternal grandparents, K.T. & Coellar Gill, maternal grandparents; Joe "Scrap" Griffin & Mattie Lou Brown.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted son, Tevin J.
