Gwinette Scott, 72 transitioned on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Houston Healthcare Warner Robins Hospital with her children by her side. Preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Scott.
Gwinette was born July 5, 1952 in Camilla, GA., to the late Annie Mae Willis late (Laura Mae Davis) and the late Willie Charles Davis.
Gwinette was well known for her culinary skills. Her cabbage was referred to as “the best cabbage in the world” by all who had the pleasure of tasting her food. Another hobby she frequently enjoyed was fishing and crocheting; passing down the time honored tradition to her daughter.
Gwinette was blessed with a large and loving family inclusive of 4 children. She leaves to cherish her memory her son Sherman (Mary) Dukes, DeShawn (Christopher) Andrews, Tory Williams, and Calvin (Sonja) Williams Jr., while also leaving behind 6 sister’s and 2 brother’s: Homer Willis, Herman Willis Patricia Willis, Late Secsonora Fluellen, Zenora Irby, Jerlene Reed, Juanita Franklin and Willie M. Smith, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
