Obituary For Jerome Price

Our Heavenly Father, who is perfect in all ways, gifted the life of his late mother, Minnie Lee Price with the gift of a son on December 24, 1960 by the name of Jerome Price.

Mike, as he was affectionally called, 64 years old, of Byron entered into God’s kingdom at 9:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2025, at his home in Byron.

He was educated in the Peach County School system in Fort Valley. He joined First Baptist Church at an early age. Mike worked many jobs in his career and he worked 30 years and retired from Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex.

He was very quiet and a private person. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch, playing music with an occasional dance routine he would perform. He was loved being around his extended family but when the street lights illuminated, Mike went home.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Mattie Bell Rumph, Ed Price, Patricia Ann Price, and recently, Dorothy Jean Smith.

Mike leaves to cherish his unforgettable memories to: Olivia Walker of Delray Florida, Ralph Price of Long Island, New York, and Donna Ray Price of Warner Robins. His devoted childhood friend was the late Jerry Richardson. Johnny Manson and Bruce Grace also were very good friends to Mike. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends will really miss his quiet demeanor.
