Lula Bell Head was born on August 28, 1928 to the late Harrison and Addie Davis Head in Peach County, Georgia. She was the 9th out of 11 children. Lula Bell joined Little Bethel Baptist Church at a very early age, where she remained a member until her death as the Mother of the church. Throughout her life, she was a hard worker and had a strong belief in God and family.
On April 6, 2025, Sister Lula Bell Head reached out to God's silent angel for peace and comfort. Her soul winged it's flight into eternal rest.
Lula Bell leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Luella (Ray) Brown; three sons: Horace Head, Michael (Sanetta) Head, Tommy (Stephanie) Jackson; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Head; one devoted and dedicated friend and caregiver, Pam Hines; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
