Marie Richardson Stubbs was born June 20, 1940, in Peach County, Georgia. She was one of eight children born to the late Willie Henry (Bo) and Willie Bell Richardson of Byron, Georgia. She was a loyal and faithful member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Byron, Georgia before God called her home on Thursday, October 5, 2023.
Marie received her education from Oak Grove school in Byron and Hunt High in Fort Valley, Georgia. She always recalled having fond memories of two of her favorite teachers, Mrs. Boot and Mrs. Bell.
Marie held various job titles during the course of her life, but the most memorable to her was when she worked for the Houston County Board of Education.
Marie was preceded in death by her loving parents; two brothers: Otis and Willie Henry Jr.; daughter-in-law, Sylvia; and her beautiful and loving daughter, Debbie.
Those loved ones left behind to always cherish her memory are her children: Lisa Collins, Ronnie Stubbs, Roger (Venus) Stubbs and Mary Ann Stubbs, who all reside in Warner Robins; her sisters: Annie Doris Hamlin, Ella Barnes, Dollie Mae Richardson, Lois (Johnny) Hill and Shirley (Joseph) Bryant, all of Byron; her grandchildren: Sherri, Christi (Donate), Elbert, Jason, Gigi, Jarvis (Brittany), Yolanda, Keith, Antwon, and LaKeithea; sixteen great grandchildren; caregiver, Quiondra; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Marie held a vast abundance of love for her children, grandchildren, and family. We all would say that she was one woman who never met a stranger. She always made everyone feel welcome and she was such a joy to be around. She was affectionately known as Beebuddy, Grandma and G-Nana to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and Mar-rie to family and friends. Marie lived a happy and fulfilled life and all of us who love her are going to miss her so very much.

Mrs. Stubbs was a very sweet and kind lady. She was her mothers daughter. My thoughts and prayers are with you all The Richardson-Stubbs Family. May God grant you the peace you need to get through this transitioning period. Love you always.
