Obituary For Paul Sowell
Paul Sowell was born February 13, 1943 in New Brockton, Alabama to Carrie L. Sowell and the late Reesen Jake Sowell. Later Paul moved to Enterprise, Alabama. Where he attended and graduated from Coppinville High School as a honor graduate. He attended Alabama A & M University as a scholarship recipient for a two year period. He then enlisted in the United States Air Force, Where he served for 30 years. After retirement from the Air Force he started Sowell's Contracting Service. As a faithful servant of Christ Paul was a member of WRCME Church. He loved his church where he served on the usher board, was a Trustee, and in the couples ministry organization until his health declined. He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife, Betty J. Sowell; Two loving daughters, Deshima D. Sowell and Sonia D. Dickerson; Two Step-sons, James M. Avery (Marie) and David L. Avery both from Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of relatives and friends

Sending much love to you, Ms. Betty, and Mama Carrie. I met Mr. Paul when I moved next door in 2003. He was always so pleasant to me. I will definitely miss seeing him and saying, "hey baby how you doing." Deshima....you know I'm here should you all need anything.
