Phyllis C. Spann-Hill
October 28, 1958 - September 3, 2022
Warner Robins, Georgia - Phyllis C. Spann-Hill passed away suddenly, at home in the arms of her husband, Jimmie Hill. Phyllis was born in Fort Gains, Alabama but grew up in Abbeville, Alabama. She had two brothers; Bobby Hall and Gary Owens, as well as one sister, Niecy Owens. Phyllis attended school in Abbeville. She participated in the 4H club and was a cheerleader. After graduating Phyllis attended college and took a position with the FBI as a trainer. This sparked her interest in the Air Force. She joined the Air Force in August of 1982 and entered into radio communication career field; where she served for twenty years as an outstanding Airmen. After her meritorious service in the Air Force she retired and became an instructor for grad School at Robins Air Force Base. After several years of teaching, Phyllis left the work force to enjoy retirement life. She served and worshipped at Fellowship Bible Baptist Church under Minister Willie Reid. She later joined Beulahland Bible Church and served as a faithful member, until she was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A
Celebration of Life for Mrs, Phyllis C. Spann-Hill will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 in the chapel of Nelson's Memorial Mortuary at 1:00 P.M. Phyllis leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband, Jimmie Hill; two sons; Terran A. Spann and Maurice A. Spann; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many more relatives and friends.
