Macon, Georgia - Polly Louise Bentley (Johnson), 84, of Macon, GA. Received her wings on Tuesday, February 3, 2021. Graveside Services will be held at the Mount Hope AME Cemetery, Macon, GA, 7215 Industrial Hwy, on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 12:00PM. Bishop Robert L. Bentley will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at Nelson's Memorial Mortuary, 501 Elberta Road, Warner Robins, GA. Polly was born January 6, 1937, in Twiggs County, GA to the late Viola Johnson (Thomas) and Marshall Johnson. She married Robert L. Bentley on March 23, 1958. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters and four brothers. Surviving is one son, Bishop Robert L. Bentley Jr., (Joyce) of Macon, GA.; Bonita A. Harrison (Reginald) of Crestview, FL., Sharon B. Evans (Cedric) and Sharee B. Walker (Stanley) of Macon, GA; two step-children; Ruby Jean Forbes (Clinton) and Carl Porter (Pam); ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was a lifelong member of the Stubbs Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. As a member, she serviced for many years as the vice president of the senior choir. Mask are required.
